Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related technology field
- 6-8+ years of combined business and technology experience in Oracle Fusion
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Hands-on experience in supporting Oracle and ERP systems within complex enterprise settings
- Experience managing enterprise-scale applications in intricate, global environments
- Solid project management track record, showcasing successful outcomes
- Ability to set clear expectations with finance departments regarding timelines
- Familiarity with SOX compliance, including managing controls and coordinating audits
- Strong understanding of finance related principles including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting
- Keen analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional written and verbally communicative skills, especially in conveying complex information clearly
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 2-4 application support professionals, guiding them through stabilization and ongoing assistance of a newly deployed Oracle environment
- Support recent and forthcoming deployments, including the integration of additional U.S. business units, followed by regions in APAC and Canada
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, and Development teams to maintain system stability and ensure accurate financial processing
- Act as a subject matter authority for enterprise and financial applications such as Oracle Fusion, FCCS, PBCS, BlackLine, ServiceNow, and Salesforce
- Manage first-line support for financial and enterprise applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues with minimal disruption
- Supervise daily application support to guarantee system availability, reliability, and performance
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes according to ITIL best practices
- Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects in financial systems, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) standards
- Provide insights to business and IT stakeholders about accounting and financial considerations during new system rollouts or enhancements
- Identify and pursue opportunities for process improvements, challenging existing norms and driving continuous enhancements across application support services
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders, providing clear updates on system health, associated risks, and resolution statuses
Description
We are a growing global technology company based in Mesa, AZ, seeking an Oracle Application Support Manager to stabilize and support our newly implemented enterprise application environment. This position entails leading a team and engaging in post-implementation support, global rollouts, and optimization efforts across our Finance and IT departments. The role requires a physical presence four days a week at our location, with one remote working day.
