Oracle Record-to-Report Consultant

- Organize and lead functional workshops for Record-to-Report (R2R) processes covering General Ledger (GL), Subledger Accounting (SLA), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Intercompany, and Financial Close - Assess existing financial processes and map out future-state R2R workflows in line with Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud best practices - Set up Oracle Fusion modules for GL, FA, CM, Intercompany, SLA guidelines, and accounting transformations, including FAH-based accounting if necessary - Create Business Process Design documents, Configuration Workbooks, Functional Design Specifications (FDS), and comprehensive process documentation - Assist in the design of chart of accounts, configuration of financial calendars, ledger setups, and reporting hierarchies - Confirm R2R integration points with Procurement (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Projects (PPM), FAH, and EPM (FCCS/EPBCS) - Collaborate with Integration teams to develop and validate interfaces for journals, bank statements, asset data, and intercompany transactions using OIC, FBDI, and REST/SOAP APIs - Aid in financial data migration, including COA mapping, opening balance entries, asset conversion, bank setups, and reconciliations - Formulate and execute test scenarios for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and period-close simulations - Ensure accuracy in R2R accounting across subledgers, SLA guidelines, FAH transformation rules, and GL postings - Provide functional support throughout cutover phases, period close readiness, deployment activities, and hypercare post-deployment - Work alongside reporting teams to verify OTBI, BI Publisher, and financial statement reports
