Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- Preferred certifications include Oracle Fusion Financials or Procurement Cloud Implementation Specialist, OCI Data Integration Associate, and Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud 2023 Certified Specialist
- 12-15+ years of experience in data migration, with a minimum of 7 years dedicated to Oracle Fusion Cloud data migrations
- In-depth expertise in FBDI/ADFDI, ODI, FDI, ADW, SQL/PLSQL, and ETL methodologies
- Strong understanding of data structures and conversion requirements for GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PO, SSP, Suppliers, and FAH
- Proven experience executing multi-cycle migrations for large-scale ERP programs across various regions (NA, EMEA, APAC)
- Prior involvement in data cleansing, profiling, validation rules, mapping logic, and handling migration issues
- Strong knowledge of financial and procurement data models, including subledger-to-ledger posting logic
- Experience supporting SIT/UAT cycles with preparation of test data and reconciliation processes
- Ability to coordinate and manage offshore teams across multiple workstreams
- Excellent analytical abilities, documentation skills, communication proficiency, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the comprehensive data migration strategy, planning, and execution for Oracle Fusion Cloud across Finance, Procurement, PPM, and FAH modules
- Define and administer the data migration framework, encompassing scope, methodology, data quality rules, reconciliation approach, environments, and migration cycles
- Conduct data object discovery, data profiling, and mapping workshops with business, functional, and technical teams
- Oversee the design and development of ETL components, utilizing methodologies such as FBDI/ADFDI, ODI, FDI, and ADW pipelines where relevant
- Collaborate with functional teams to verify mapping rules, transformation logic, cross-module dependencies, and reference data alignment
- Administer mock cycles, including Cycle 1/2/3 execution, defect resolution, and reconciliation processes
- Direct the creation of data validation scripts, SQL-based reconciliation queries, and reporting checks across subledgers and the general ledger
- Partner with integration and technical teams to facilitate migration-related integrations, as well as conduct pre-load checks, post-load validations, and workflow triggers
- Ensure data readiness for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Parallel Testing, and Cutover, providing high-quality data for all testing cycles
- Lead cutover data migration planning and execution, including coordinated runbooks, load sequencing, freeze windows, and approval gates
- Establish governance for master data quality, tracking data issues, data cleansing progress, and aligning business ownership
- Provide guidance and oversight to offshore data migration resources to ensure consistent quality of delivery
- Prepare and maintain documentation such as data mapping sheets, conversion design documents, reconciliation logs, KPIs, and migration dashboards
