Operations Analyst - Data Solutions

- Ensure ongoing adherence to federal and state nonprofit regulations and laws - Prepare, manage, and submit necessary filings to the IRS and relevant state agencies - Oversee the preparation and submission of IRS Form 990 along with related schedules - Maintain governing documents, policies, compliance schedules, bylaws, and Board resolutions - Manage charitable registrations and necessary filings across jurisdictions - Collaborate with external legal advisors, accountants, auditors, and other professional partners - Assist with annual audits and ensure prompt resolution of findings - Maintain precise financial records and supervise bookkeeping tasks (e.g. QuickBooks) - Manage bank accounts, payments, and financial workflows in line with Board-approved controls - Guarantee adequate documentation and internal controls for all financial transactions - Prepare financial summaries and reports for Board evaluation - Schedule and coordinate Board and committee meetings - Prepare agendas, materials, minutes, and follow-up items - Support governance best practices and obligations of Board compliance - Ensure correct documentation of decisions and approvals made by the Board - Manage relationships with third-party vendors involved in grant administration and disbursements - Monitor vendor performance, contracts, and adherence to established processes - Assist in the operational execution of fundraising initiatives and events - Coordinate with vendors and Board members for seamless event execution - Ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting of fundraising activities
