Requirements
Must:
- Recent demonstrated experience as a Node.js developer (essential requirement)
- Solid JavaScript skills applicable to both backend and frontend
- Experience in supporting comprehensive full-stack applications
- Practical knowledge of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.)
- Familiarity with MongoDB
- Experience with Ember.js on the frontend
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, delivery-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Engage in hands-on Node.js backend development (primary focus)
- Design, enhance, and manage RESTful APIs and backend services
- Analyze and rectify application performance challenges, particularly latency and response time
- Assist with full-stack development, including enhancements for Ember.js frontend
- Utilize MongoDB for data structuring, query optimization, and integrations
- Deploy and maintain services in AWS cloud settings
- Collaborate with current engineers to bridge immediate skill gaps and expedite delivery
- Adhere to established coding standards and take part in informal code reviews
