Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise in integrating with QuickBooks APIs and managing data synchronization
- Required frontend proficiency in Ember.js for user-facing functionalities related to financial processes
- Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js (core requirement)
- Demonstrated experience integrating with QuickBooks (Online) APIs
- Strong JavaScript skills for both backend and frontend development
- Experience in building comprehensive full-stack applications
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB/NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with working in AWS cloud environments
- Frontend development experience with Ember.js or substantial familiarity
- Knowledge of financial or accounting systems concepts such as invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and chart of accounts
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain Node.js backend services for QuickBooks integrations
- Integrate with QuickBooks Online APIs (authentication, data synchronization, webhooks)
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs tailored for accounting and financial workflows
- Manage data synchronization processes between QuickBooks and internal systems
- Create and oversee data models with MongoDB
- Assist in frontend development and enhancements utilizing Ember.js
- Deploy and oversee services within AWS cloud environments
- Resolve integration challenges pertaining to data consistency, failures, and edge cases
- Collaborate with internal teams to convert accounting and finance requirements into technical solutions
