Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Over 5 years of professional experience with Juniper/Arista/Cisco/Aruba/Extreme Networks equipment
- Minimum 2 years of expertise in network capacity planning, security principles, and best network management practices, with experience in working with telcos internationally
- Strong understanding and practical skills in various networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, STP, QoS, COS, NetFlow, OpenFlow, MPLS, SIP, VRRP, and HSRP
- Proven experience collaborating with multiple teams to deliver networking connectivity services across data centers, labs, office buildings, and cloud environments
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues and working with vendors, data centers, and onsite support teams
- Solid grasp of data center technologies, such as VXLAN, EVPN, and MC-Lag
- Familiarity with SDWAN, WAN Optimization, and Cloud Computing including AWS, Azure, and Google
- Experience with wireless technologies like MIST and others
- Strong knowledge of Network Monitoring tools
- Proven ability to create network documentation and flow diagrams
- Understanding of Windows and Linux environments
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Experience in one or more areas: IPv6, next-generation firewalls, NAC, VMware, or cloud computing
Responsibilities
- Oversee the network infrastructure while providing L2/L3 Network support
- Lead a team during assigned shifts, managing P1/P2 escalations and coordinating with other teams while tracking incidents and changes
- Address incidents and tasks related to network infrastructure by adhering to established processes and workflows
- Communicate effectively with end users and business stakeholders as necessary
- Manage Juniper routing, switching, wireless, and WAN technologies, utilizing tools and automation processes
- Supervise the operation of Juniper firewalls, as well as Site to Site VPNs and SSL VPNs
- Administer Radius components associated with network devices
- Analyze infrastructure utilization and anticipate necessary growth across network components (both physical and virtual)
- Upgrade existing components to the latest patch versions
- Troubleshoot complex interactions across various networks
- Document technical details including incident root cause analyses
- Continuously learn about new routing, switching, wireless, and WAN technologies
- Enhance processes, procedures, and scalability through network automation
- Participate in shift rotations as required
