Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is necessary - Equivalent professional experience may be considered - Preferred certifications: Ubiquiti (URSCA or equivalent); CompTIA Network+; Cisco CCNA; CWNA / CWDP (wireless) - Continuous training and certification are encouraged - Proficiency in MDF/IDF design, rack constructions, and structured cabling - Strong knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, ports, firewalls) - Extensive familiarity with the Ubiquiti ecosystem - Understanding of power redundancy, UPS, RPS, and environmental factors - Solid comprehension of basic network security and access control concepts - Comfortable operating across Linux/Mac/Windows networking platforms - Capability to independently carry out physical installations in warehouse settings

Responsibilities

- Design, construct, and manage MDF and IDF rooms from inception, covering rack layout, power planning, grounding, labeling, and documentation - Implement and maintain Ubiquiti infrastructure (switches, APs, gateways, UPS, RPS, cameras) - Carry out structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A) including cable routing, termination, testing, and cleanup - Operate scissor lifts safely to install APs, cameras, and cabling at height - Design and review network layouts, blueprints, and infrastructure diagrams - Conduct Wi-Fi heatmaps and coverage assessments (Ekahau or similar) - Implement strategies for network redundancy, power failover, and resiliency best practices - Configure VLANs, routing protocols, firewall settings, VPNs, and basic network security measures - Diagnose and resolve network issues across OSI Layers 1-7 - Travel to fulfillment centers to assist with launches, expansions, and remediation tasks - Create and uphold detailed documentation (network diagrams, runbooks, standards) - Mentor and assist junior IT personnel through hands-on guidance and knowledge sharing
