Requirements
Must:
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, or CISSP are advantageous
- 3-5 years of experience in network engineering
- Proficient in L2/L3 networking and security design fundamentals
- In-depth knowledge of protocols and standards
- Practical experience with IPSEC, VPN, and SSL
- Familiarity with PaloAlto Networks firewall configuration and monitoring is preferred
- Exposure to cloud environments, especially AWS or Azure, is a plus
- Experience with network monitoring tools is desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, test, and document LAN/WAN/network systems and equipment
- Oversee daily network performance to guarantee reliability with minimal downtime
- Diagnose issues, resolve support tickets, and act as an escalation point for network challenges
- Configure firewall security settings and manage access permissions; assist with IPSEC/VPN/SSL connectivity
- Facilitate network upgrades and expansions, including hardware/software installations and integration testing
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network topology, standards, and guidelines; collaborate with vendors and IT teams
- Provide support during evenings or weekends as needed; occasional travel may be necessary
