Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience with Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Palo Alto, and VeloCloud
- Extensive understanding of networking and telecommunications
- Familiarity with network protocols, architecture, and security measures
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Solid analytical and technical proficiency
- Hands-on experience with Cisco LAN Switching using Nexus and Catalyst products
- Proficient in configuring Cisco CLI, VeloCloud SD-WAN, Palo Firewalls, and Wireless Controllers
- Ability to configure and adhere to standards for network protocols, architecture, and security
- Preferred certifications: Cisco CCIE in Route/Switch or Data Center, Cisco CCNP R/S, Cisco CCNA Route/Switching, and major Firewall certifications like Palo Alto
Responsibilities
- Configure and implement network systems and applications
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and support LAN, WAN, Wireless, Firewall, and Voice systems
- Monitor system performance and suggest modifications to optimize availability and performance
- Participate in internal meetings and discussions with business partners
- Provide after-hours on-call support and manage incidents
- Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) to meet operational performance objectives
- Design, develop, deploy, and administer enterprise collaboration services
- Collaborate with fellow network team members to support projects, sometimes taking the lead
- Engage in product evaluations, systems testing, certification, and product lifecycle management
- Offer guidance and mentorship to fellow team members
