Network Device Testing Engineer

- Collaborate with project teams of engineers on the specification, design, development, and testing of hardware - Support engineers in the design, development, and assessment of new products, conducting bench-level repairs and initial setups on engineering prototypes - Establish test parameters and procedures aimed at ensuring zero design defects for production - Create and execute system and board-level test plans alongside hardware development engineers, diagnostics engineers, software members, and project managers - Set up intricate test scenarios to apply maximum functional stress on hardware modules through traffic and diagnostic testing - Identify necessary test equipment and setup architectures vital for testing new hardware products - Carry out EDVT test plans while documenting outcomes and troubleshooting any identified issues; work towards resolution and implement corrective actions with the project team - Conduct HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) at external laboratories locally - Interact closely with cross-functional product teams to achieve project milestones, third-party vendors for test equipment evaluation and training, and ODM partners to review and authorize ODMs test strategies, plans, processes, and reports - Provide project status and mitigation plans to the team as opportunities arise - Enhance the evaluation and improvement of testing processes and best practice documentation, focusing on efficiency, consistency, cost management, testing leverage, and customer satisfaction - Assess technical readiness before release to manufacturing
