Requirements
Must:
- Microsoft Certified Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) or an equivalent certification
- Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
- Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
- Knowledgeable in CISCO IOS, CISCO ACI, ASA, CISCO Call Manager, Fortinet Security Fabric, and F5 load balancers
- Experienced with Microsoft Azure architecture and security
Responsibilities
- Design and implement detailed specifications for advanced voice and data networks
- Plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements based on approved data and voice technologies
- Create a comprehensive network architecture strategy adhering to industry best practices ensuring security, scalability, reliability, and adaptability to meet business needs
- Offer architectural guidance and support to Business Analysts, System Administrators, and key stakeholders
- Draft best practice documentation and white papers to provide insights and feedback during consulting engagements
- Maintain comprehensive records of the existing network architecture and technology portfolio
- Specify test requirements for network validation to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Develop test plans, engineering documents, system recovery protocols, policies, and procedures
- Conduct research on emerging technologies to support system developments and suggest cost-effective, flexible solutions
- Prepare white papers and recommendations regarding new and upcoming technologies
- Serve as a point of escalation for issue resolution in operational systems and deployments
- React to production impacts promptly to offer troubleshooting and problem-solving assistance as required
