NOC administrator

- Oversee and sustain monitoring systems for user experience, emerging technologies, and new vendor offerings - Ensure job functions and business processes are consistent to boost productivity; maintain an up-to-date documentation repository - Keep production and development monitoring environments healthy through regular software and hardware updates, system audits, and research into improvements - Support adherence to policies, processes, and procedures - Execute ad-hoc batch job network verifications as needed - Monitor, acknowledge, troubleshoot, and escalate alerts from batch processes, servers, networks, operating systems, and proprietary software - Communicate batch and network issues to customers and internal teams for resolution - Assist in assigning, tracking, and documenting daily tasks and issues - Contribute to the updating of technical documentation for projects and support tasks to ensure operational readiness - Help create and generate performance metric reports - Adjust batch and network operational calendars for holidays, year-end, scheduled outages, or other impactful events - Monitor and evaluate performance metrics (KPIs) to identify opportunities for enhancing automation efficiency - Identify recurring network and application problems, collaborate with relevant business partners for root cause analysis, and facilitate corrective actions
