Requirements

- Relevant educational background and/or training is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Create software tests and automate test cases, conduct application testing, validate bugs, and identify issues
- Test high-performance and large-scale immersive systems
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated testing tools and strategies
- Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to meet system requirements
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks for application products
- Write, execute, and report on system test cases for evaluation
- Analyze test cases and provide regular progress updates
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering testing expertise to support user needs for complex software/hardware applications
- Lead and/or participate in risk management assessments and software/hardware development phases focusing on user requirements, test design, and tool selection
- Design, plan, execute, and provide testing reports for systems
- Review government test plans and reports for technical accuracy, effectiveness, and adherence to standards
- Observe and assess customer acceptance test activities
- Conduct integration activities involving developed application software
- Identify and document issues, offering detailed guidance on root cause and solution
- Analyze requirements for each test event and assist in scheduling system non-operational environment test assets
- Aid in presenting and formally reviewing or auditing test results, providing briefing and decision support materials
