Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in a technology-related field such as Computer Science or Engineering
- Over 12 years of proven experience in full stack programming for scalable web applications
- Strong expertise with Java Spring-based frameworks and libraries, particularly Spring Boot
- Familiarity with public cloud technologies, with a preference for Microsoft Azure
- Practical experience using messaging technologies like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Service Bus
- Background in building applications with databases such as Oracle or Postgres
- Proficient in developing and consuming RESTful API integrations and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes using tools such as Jenkins
- Experience with software testing methodologies and tools, including JUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium
- Skills in Chaos Testing and SRE practices to develop resilient cloud-based applications
- Capability in designing and building applications within a microservices framework
- Commitment to engineering excellence and continuous improvement through collaboration and learning
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities for complex customer requirements
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers in sound design and engineering principles
- Eagerness to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative software solutions
- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications
- Implement and optimize Java Spring-based frameworks and libraries
- Work extensively with Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies
- Utilize messaging technologies effectively for application development
- Create and manage databases required for application functionality
- Develop and consume REST APIs and maintain microservices
- Contribute to CI/CD process implementation and optimization
- Conduct software testing and ensure quality assurance
- Apply Chaos Testing and SRE methodologies to enhance software resilience
- Design and architect microservices applications
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement within the team
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues while understanding user needs
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software design
