Requirements
Must:
- Several years of experience in a mainframe operations or development environment (z/OS)/n- Proficient understanding of JCL, TSO, and ISPF/n- Capability to write and debug REXX scripts/n- Strong communication and documentation abilities/n- Experience with mainframe application development using COBOL, PL/I, VSAM/QSAM, or DB2 (preferred)/n- Familiarity with IBM Z DevOps tools such as ADDI, IDz, zD&T, DBB, Git, UCD, Artifactory, IBM Wazi Deploy, and Migration Utility for z/OS (preferred)/n- Knowledge of competing z/OS products or tools (preferred)/n- Proven experience implementing DevOps transformations and pipeline orchestration in enterprise environments (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Enhance and support mainframe operational environments by applying DevOps practices and automation frameworks/n- Develop, construct, and refine CI/CD pipelines utilizing IBM Z DevOps tools and open-source integrations/n- Collaborate with developers, release managers, and operations teams to enhance software delivery and deployment reliability/n- Utilize mainframe utilities and scripts (JCL, REXX, ISPF, TSO) for automation and orchestration/n- Engage in initiatives to modernize legacy mainframe workflows into hybrid cloud DevOps pipelines
