Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in IT, covering a wide array of technologies, specifically with several years in server and storage infrastructure technologies
- Proficiency in Linux, particularly Redhat Linux versions 7, 8, and 9
- Fundamental knowledge of Linux security, including Identity and Access Management, and Delinea (previously Centrify)
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities for OS, hardware, and storage issues
- Preferred coding experience in Node.js or Angular
- Proven ability to lead Incident calls and engage with Enterprise-level clients and application teams
- Familiarity with Veritas products such as Storage Foundation or Veritas Cluster Server is advantageous
- Experience with Windows, VMWare, and Oracle Logical Volume Manager (OLVM) is highly desirable
- Experience working with Storage subsystems and SAN/NAS/CAS Infrastructure is a significant asset
- Proven track record in collaboration with Server Operations and Infrastructure teams
- Expertise in managing crisis or high-severity incident calls
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and IT Service Management
- Good grasp of the infrastructure technology ecosystem, including Linux, AIX, Windows, VMWare, OpenStack, and server hardware from HP and Dell
- Experience in Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) is a considerable advantage
- Familiarity with disk storage management and virtualization technologies, particularly with VMware ESX servers
- On-call support experience is beneficial
- Skills in Shell Scripting and Python

- Identify gaps and opportunities for improvements to boost the stability of our systems
- Collaborate with various vendors, including Redhat, HP, Dell, and IBM AIX, to conduct root cause analyses and implement solutions
- Explore and share innovative ideas, methodologies, and industry insights to automate and enhance stability in the infrastructure domain, as well as develop self-service and self-healing capabilities
