Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in delivering software solutions with a strong emphasis on automated testing
- In-depth understanding of the software testing lifecycle, methodologies, and automation frameworks
- Strong proficiency in Java-based test automation tools including Selenium, Cucumber, and JUnit
- Expertise in UI, API, and backend automation (Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured/Karate, JDBC/JPA)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Jenkins, CloudBees, Git, Bitbucket)
- Capability to write complex SQL queries; experience with Oracle, DB2, or Snowflake is desirable
- Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including onsite/offshore delivery models
- Experience with test and defect management tools (JIRA, ALM)
- Ability to mentor junior test engineers and review deliverables for quality assurance
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Unix, Python, and AWS is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead system integration testing (both manual and automated) for new and enhanced applications
- Convert business and functional requirements into actionable test strategies and outcomes
- Define and oversee test automation strategies throughout the design, build, and execution phases
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and other technical teams during the delivery process
- Monitor test milestones, risks, and challenges affecting delivery schedules
- Design comprehensive end-to-end business scenarios that align with objectives and goals
- Promote the adoption of delivery pipelines and reusable automation frameworks
- Identify environmental and data dependencies necessary for testing
- Ensure adherence to processes, documentation standards, and alignment with risk/control measures
- Develop in-depth product knowledge and work with domain experts to enhance system understanding
- Assist in project coordination and technical management tasks
