Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency with Cypress, AWS, and APIs
- Experience in both automated and manual testing methodologies
- Prior experience in a similar role or significant knowledge and skills in related areas
- Relevant educational background and/or training is a plus
- Familiarity with automation testing methodologies like regression, functional, unit, integration, and load testing
- Background in testing applications with RESTful APIs
- Experience with test management tools like qTest, ALM, or TFS
- Familiarity with API testing frameworks such as Karate, Gatling, JMeter, or Postman
- Exposure to load and performance testing
- Understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Heroku, Perfecto Mobile, or SauceLabs
- Experience with code reviews through pull requests
- Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Responsibilities
- Lead the quality assurance efforts for the Web, Mobile, and Application portfolios
- Design and implement automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency
- Develop and maintain both automated and manual test plans
- Mentor Software Test Engineers and review specifications
- Execute automated testing for end-to-end integration across platforms and devices
- Evaluate and implement testing tools while managing defects during release cycles
- Ensure traceability to requirements and support user acceptance testing
- Analyze test metrics and ensure that documentation standards are adhered to
- Collaborate closely with developers and Agile teams to meet functional and technical standards
- Participate in functional, system, regression, and load testing
Description
We are seeking a Lead Software QA Engineer to join our Phoenix-based team in a fully remote capacity, available to candidates across the U.S. This is a ten-month contract position focused on enhancing the quality and performance of our software applications. We emphasize automated testing within Agile and Continuous Delivery environments.
