Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of experience in technical product management
- Proven project experience in transportation initiatives, particularly with LTL (Less Than Truckload) and parcel shipping
- Familiarity with transportation systems like Descartes
- Strong comprehension of 3PL networks
- Background in technical settings, collaborating with engineers rather than solely business/operations personnel
- Daily engagement with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, composing user stories, and collaborating with development teams for feature enhancements
- Experience in an Agile environment and proficient in using Jira
- Broad understanding of technical design specifications, working alongside technology peers to craft solutions
- Subject-matter expertise that contributes to organizational objectives and success in innovative ways
- Thorough knowledge of product management practices, functional design, and application delivery methods
- Customer-centric with a commitment to high quality standards and strong presentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Responsibilities
- Oversee one or more significant domains within the organization
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the IT department, delivering product and user experience solutions that align with business requirements
- Formulate high-level business requirements and transform them into functional specifications for the IT department, while managing changes to these specifications
- Facilitate communication between business and IT teams from initial requirements through to final implementation, negotiating agreements and commitments
- Provide tactical direction to team members as needed

We are looking for a Lead Product Manager for our Transportation Management Systems team at Kforce. This role involves working closely with our Product Management team to deliver strategic solutions that enhance value for our business partners. You will work Monday through Thursday in our office, with the option to work from home on Fridays.
