Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management or senior business systems roles, with a focus on enterprise platforms
- Proven experience implementing, scaling, or managing Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions in a retail, eCommerce, or content-rich setting
- Experience with DAM should emphasize working with near-final assets for digital deployment
- Strong grasp of metadata, taxonomy, and content governance, and their roles in facilitating automation and asset reuse
- History of managing large product assortments and high-traffic digital assets
- Ability to clearly convey DAMs function in relation to creative production tools, marketing workflows, and digital platforms
- Solid technical expertise, including an understanding of APIs, integrations, data models, and architectural considerations
- Capability to lead change management initiatives and foster adoption across varied business teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities catering to executive, business, and technical audiences
- Comfort in navigating ambiguous situations and making informed decisions
- Experience working within Agile or iterative development frameworks
- Knowledge of retail merchandising, eCommerce platforms, or digital content systems
Responsibilities
- Oversee the product vision, roadmap, and execution for Digital Asset Management within the Merchandising Systems portfolio
- Direct the implementation and launch of the DAM solution, including platform setup, integration strategy, and phased adoption across brands and teams
- Define the role of DAM in the larger ecosystem, ensuring clarity between creative production tools and enabling downstream utilization
- Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture to design and advance API-driven integrations between DAM and both upstream and downstream systems (e.g., creative tools, PIM, WAM, rendering and image services)
- Establish and maintain a metadata strategy and governance framework, ensuring alignment with enterprise attribution, enrichment workflows, and data quality standards
- Serve as the primary product owner and subject matter expert for DAM, representing the platform in cross-functional dialogues and decision-making forums
- Assess and prioritize improvements based on user insights, business requirements, and platform growth
