Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years of experience in manual quality assurance/testing within complex application environments
- Previous experience in a Lead QA or Senior QA position
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proven capability to develop inclusive test cases, including negative and edge-case scenarios
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over quality outcomes in a complex setting
- (Preferred) Experience testing CRM platforms, ideally Pega Systems CRM
- (Preferred) Experience with Rally (CA Agile Central) or similar Agile and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA)
- (Preferred) Exposure to Project Management and/or Business Analysis tasks
- (Preferred) Experience supporting large-scale CRM implementations
- (Preferred) Background in large enterprise or government/public sector environments
- (Preferred) Knowledge of regulatory or compliance-driven systems
- (Preferred) Basic SQL or data validation experience
Responsibilities
- Lead manual testing activities for a CRM project, which includes functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Take ownership of quality standards for the project, ensuring comprehensive and well-documented test coverage
- Develop and sustain test plans, detailed test cases, and documentation for test execution, including negative, boundary, and exception scenarios
- Assess and validate business and functional requirements to ensure they are fully testable
- Act as the QA lead on the project, coordinating testing activities and priorities among teams
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects; collaborate closely with development teams to ensure corrections and prevent regressions
- Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and readiness reviews
- Provide clear updates on testing status, quality metrics, and risk assessments to project leadership
- Facilitate and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users
- Act as a strong proponent for quality throughout the development lifecycle
