Requirements
Must:
- 7-10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning
- Experience in the financial services or consulting sectors
- Strong expertise in financial crime, AML, fraud, or risk analytics
- Proven ability in client-facing roles
- Experience in leading or coordinating cross-functional teams
- Solid understanding of machine learning methodologies
- Proficiency in statistical modeling
- Experience in data manipulation using Python and SQL
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary analytics lead for client projects related to financial crime (AML, fraud, sanctions)
- Convert business challenges into analytical strategies and solution frameworks
- Communicate insights, recommendations, and model results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ensure model transparency and compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to grasp regulatory requirements, risk frameworks, and existing monitoring processes
- Design and direct the development of models for transaction monitoring, fraud detection, customer risk assessment, and network-based anomaly detection
- Implement techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, anomaly detection, clustering and segmentation, as well as graph analytics
