Requirements
Must:
- Masters Degree or a foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Data Science, Information Technology, or Engineering with one year of experience in the role or one years experience within the IT sector
- Alternatively, a Bachelors Degree or a foreign equivalent in the same fields with five years of experience in the position or five years of experience in the IT sector
- Proficiency in ETL, Python, Spark, Scala, Kafka, Hive, and Data Lake
- Willingness to travel up to 100% to various unanticipated domestic client locations in the US
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of diverse methodologies during the concept phase of application project development
- Create graphical user interface (GUI) prototypes
- Research, strategize, and develop project plans
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of IT projects using technologies such as ETL, Python, Spark, Scala, Kafka, Hive, and Data Lake
- Develop and validate application tests
- Optimize developed applications for performance
- Deploy applications into existing systems
- Participate in application walkthroughs with users
- Implement user controls for applications
- Maintain version control using GIT
- Produce thorough project documentation
