Jira Administrator

- Design and standardize target architecture for Jira components such as Issue Type, Workflow, Permission, Notification, and Field Configuration schemes - Lead the consolidation of existing schemes into a streamlined, reusable set that caters to diverse organizational needs - Analyze and optimize custom fields to avoid redundancy, retire unnecessary fields, and promote their reuse - Establish governance policies and standards for creating and managing fields and configurations after migration - Oversee system changes and updates to ensure the ongoing stability of the platform - Quickly assess and document the existing Jira Data Center/Server environment, identifying issues, dependencies, and technical debt - Collaborate with business and product leaders to align current requirements with standardized target schemes while maintaining or enhancing functionality - Conduct impact assessments regarding scheme standardization, automations, and integrations across different user groups - Provide architectural guidance to migration teams to ensure readiness for Jira Cloud - Define data transformation rules and mappings for issues, workflows, and fields throughout the migration process - Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices during the transformation
