Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Over 3 years of practical software/cloud development and engineering expertise
- More than 3 years of experience in intricate architectural designs and technology projects
- At least 3 years of experience in Test Driven Development
- Proficient in REST API development using NodeJS and JAVA
- Skilled in event-driven application design and development with KAFKA
- Experience in database development with PL/SQL for Oracle
- Knowledge of API Gateway publishing using APIGEE/Stratum
- Familiarity with production support operations tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or Kibana
- Experience in application development on public cloud platforms, such as AWS (including Serverless, EKS, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, Dynamo)
- Proficient in DevOps CI/CD tools like Jenkins, uDeploy, Concourse, Terraform
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to design and develop Java APIs with a focus on AWS and Kafka
- Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing
- Contribute to the architecture of complex systems and drive technology initiatives
- Implement Test Driven Development methodologies to ensure high-quality software
- Develop and maintain REST APIs utilizing NodeJS and JAVA
- Design and execute event-driven applications using KAFKA
- Create and manage database solutions with PL/SQL for Oracle
- Publish APIs through the API Gateway using APIGEE/Stratum
- Utilize operational tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or Kibana for production support
- Apply cloud-based technologies and manage resources on platforms like AWS
- Use DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment with tools like Jenkins and Terraform
