Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in API design and implementation, with a solid understanding of REST principles
- Extensive experience in developing APIs using Java and Spring framework
- Strong familiarity with cloud service platforms, preferably AWS, with knowledge of Google Cloud Platform as an alternative
- Adept in CI/CD pipelines utilizing Terraform and cloud-based services
- Good grasp of unit testing and test automation techniques
- Significant experience with containerization; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus
- Competent in database architecture with knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases in a cloud setting
- Adaptable, proactive, and capable of acquiring new skills and tools as requirements change
Responsibilities
- Develop and launch cloud-native APIs and architectures to enhance customer-facing web and mobile applications
- Perform comprehensive requirements and product analysis prior to implementation
- Strive for continuous improvement by adopting industry best practices in system architecture, tools, CI/CD, software testing, and design
- Collaborate with seasoned API and front-end developers, business stakeholders, and other API engineering teams to deliver effective solutions
- Ensure code adheres to company standards and compliance requirements
- Work alongside experienced API teams to create, test, and execute code
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate code deployment to staging and production environments
- Provide ongoing support for applications within the production environment
