Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3 to 7+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or security engineering roles
- In-depth knowledge of security principles across network, system, application, and cloud environments
- Practical experience with common security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, and IAM solutions
- Understanding of cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with vulnerability management and remediation practices
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001)
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security measures to safeguard enterprise systems, applications, and data
- Monitor and address security incidents, alerts, and events; engage in incident response and root cause analysis
- Carry out vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and security reviews across infrastructure, cloud, and applications
- Implement and manage security tools such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanning, IAM, and DLP
- Support security architecture evaluations for new systems, applications, and third-party integrations
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and application teams to integrate security throughout the SDLC
- Aid in incident response planning, conduct tabletop exercises, and enhance response procedures continuously
- Assist with audits, compliance initiatives, and security documentation aligned with frameworks like NIST, ISO, SOC 2, and PCI
- Develop and sustain security policies, standards, and technical documentation
- Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to suggest proactive enhancements
