IT procurement specialist

- Oversee the complete IT procurement process utilizing SAP/SRM and GEP Source-to-Pay platforms for requisitioning, sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing - Formulate and execute procurement strategies that align with our organizational objectives and category management standards - Ensure adherence to company policies and procurement standards while leveraging analytics tools to derive category insights - Spearhead category management initiatives, including market analysis, supplier consolidation, and strategic sourcing - Establish and maintain category strategies that maximize value, minimize risk, and improve supplier performance - Conduct expenditure analysis to uncover cost-saving opportunities and assist business units with procurement planning - Identify and assess potential vendors through RFI and RFP processes while fostering strong relationships with key IT suppliers - Negotiate beneficial terms and conditions utilizing category leverage and manage vendor onboarding through enterprise systems - Draft, review, and manage contracts for software, hardware, and services, ensuring compliance tracking during renewals - Collaborate with finance to create and manage budgets, while distinguishing between CapEx and O&M project treatment - Analyze procurement spending using SAP/SRM and GEP analytics to pinpoint cost-saving avenues - Ensure all acquisitions comply with allocated budgets via system controls and approval workflows - Work alongside IT, legal, finance, and other departments to comprehend and satisfy procurement requirements - Provide regular updates to stakeholders and participate in cross-functional teams supporting strategic initiatives
