Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar technical/business role
- Proven experience in cybersecurity environments or similar projects
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including security engineers, developers, product teams, and business stakeholders
- Understanding of penetration testing concepts, tools, workflows, and deliverables (hands-on testing experience not essential)
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, with capability to create executive-ready presentations that effectively communicate technical ideas
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical details for business audiences
- Strong skills in process mapping, documentation, and analysis
- Established ability to work independently, effectively prioritize tasks, and take initiative
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between cybersecurity teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements, risks, and outcomes
- Gather, document, and convert business and technical requirements into actionable specifications
- Support cybersecurity initiatives focusing on penetration testing, including understanding test objectives, interpreting results, and facilitating smooth transitions to the penetration testing team
- Create clear, concise, and visually engaging PowerPoint presentations to share processes, findings, and recommendations with all levels of stakeholders
- Map, describe, and refine business and technical processes related to cybersecurity, risk, workflow, and system interactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security testing activities, timelines, and deliverables are accurately understood and managed
- Identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement as programs develop
- Work autonomously with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion
