Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in Hogan development
- Significant background in mainframe environments
- Expertise in COBOL, JCL, and associated mainframe technologies
- Familiarity with core banking systems either in support or development
- Capable of assessing requirements and executing technical solutions
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Hogan Deposits
- Knowledge of various core banking platforms (Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry, Systematics)
- Proficient in using ALM, Jira, SharePoint
- Ability to construct and evaluate SQL queries
- Previous experience in providing production support within a financial services setting
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Hogan applications within a mainframe environment
- Enhance core banking functionalities including deposits and related systems
- Evaluate business and technical needs and convert them into viable system solutions
- Execute system enhancements, implement bug fixes, and improve performance
- Deliver production support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Participate in system testing phases such as unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Create and update technical documentation pertaining to development and system modifications
- Collaborate with business analysts, system analysts, architects, and fellow developers
- Adhere to established development protocols, change management procedures, and industry best practices
