Requirements
Must:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Over 7 years of demonstrated MVC software development experience utilizing object-oriented PHP
- Solid understanding of design patterns with experience implementing them in PHP
- Proficient in version control tools (preferably Git) and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX
- Strong relational database expertise, particularly with MySQL (experience with PostgreSQL or SQL Server is acceptable)
- Enthusiasm for best design practices and a desire to innovate with bold ideas
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with ReactJS is advantageous
- Experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Software Engineering Manager to plan and execute multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
- Produce clean, maintainable code that adheres to all specified product requirements
- Refactor, enhance, and streamline the existing codebase for improved maintenance and scalability
- Document the product architecture, its sub-components, and the entire development process
- Diagnose, test, and manage the core product software and databases to guarantee optimal performance and functionality
- Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle
