Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-10 years of experience in embedded or real-time software development
- Proficient in C++ (or similar programming languages)
- Experienced in integrating hardware, firmware, and software
- Development background on VxWorks, Linux, or other real-time operating systems
- Must pass a government security investigation and be eligible for access to classified information
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot embedded real-time software
- Create software applications on VxWorks, Linux, and various RTOS platforms
- Develop and implement interaction points between software, firmware, and real-time hardware controllers
- Engage in support for radar and defense systems that demand high availability and consistent performance
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, systems, and testing
- Take part in design and code reviews, as well as system integration tasks
- Provide guidance to junior engineers and assist in establishing technical best practices
