Requirements
Must:
- Experience in ETL migration projects, specifically transitioning from Informatica to open-source or advanced ETL solutions
- Proven practical experience managing ETL migration initiatives, particularly transferring Informatica workflows to cloud-native frameworks; strong knowledge of ETL architecture, data integration methodologies, and relational data concepts
- Demonstrated expertise using AI developer-assistant tools like DevAssist for use cases such as pattern identification in ETL processes and converting them to target-platform specifications
- Capacity to assess and document ETL logic, classifying workflows based on complexity, domain, and criticality, and generating migration artifacts like inventories, mappings, and transformation summaries
- Proven proficiency with Informatica
- Experience configuring and deploying applications in public cloud environments such as Azure or AWS using Infrastructure as Code tools like OpenTofu or Terraform
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Infrastructure as Code implementation
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience in on-call support, incident resolution, and release management practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architecture, data engineering, and business teams to outline migration sequencing and priorities
- Utilize automation skills with programming languages and tools such as Python, Groovy, Java, Jenkins, APIs, and shell scripting to optimize migration and administrative tasks
- Identify reusable patterns to streamline the migration process
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth ETL migration
- Document and analyze ETL workflows, ensuring clarity and accessibility
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on migration progress
