Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering required
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with engineering software and applications, including Computer Aided Design (CAD)
- Strong creativity and excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
- Team-oriented with a meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient in creating sketches, engineering drawings, and performing common computations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
Responsibilities
- Conduct research, design, develop, fabricate, and evaluate tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices
- Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to assess time and cost feasibility for project completion
- Examine equipment failures and challenges to diagnose improper operations and advise the maintenance team accordingly
- Support drafters in formulating the structural design of products using tools, equipment, or software
