Requirements
Must:
- Preferred: Associate degree in a relevant field
- At least 2 years of experience in data center operations, particularly with iSeries, Linux, Windows, and server hardware and operating systems
- Proficient in data center operational processes and software, including batch processing, monitoring, file transfers, and backups
- Availability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed
- Familiarity with Google Workspace
- Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a sharp focus on detail, deadlines, and reporting
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively regarding shift operations and issues
- Provide customer service and assistance to team members when required
- Conduct research to identify opportunities for process and procedure enhancements
- Monitor equipment and environmental conditions within the data center
- Manage enterprise batch job processing efficiently
