Data QA and Databricks Specialist

- Develop, document, and sustain data quality rules for critical data elements (CDEs) - Conduct data profiling, anomaly detection, and root cause assessments - Collaborate with data stewards to validate definitions, thresholds, and business rules - Monitor and report on data quality metrics and remediation efforts - Assist with the rollout of Unity Catalog across all domains, including catalog structures, tagging, and metadata standards - Facilitate the onboarding of domains into the Bronze, Silver, and Gold architecture - Ensure lineage, ownership, and quality rules are integrated within Databricks pipelines - Aid in the implementation of domain-specific access controls and sensitivity tagging - Work directly with business data stewards to fully understand data requirements and quality expectations - Translate business meanings into standardized CDEs and steward-approved metadata - Organize working sessions to align on semantics, domain boundaries, and data product specifications - Promote consistent governance practices across various domains - Ensure high-quality metadata is maintained in the enterprise data catalog
