Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related analytical field
- Masters degree in an analytical discipline
- Proven experience in product management, particularly with a focus on data products and discovery
- Strong technical background, with familiarity in data technologies and tools
- Excellent communication abilities and a talent for cross-functional collaboration
- Proficient in data analysis, data warehousing, and data software architecture principles
- Experience in software development, including knowledge of data modeling, ETL procedures, CI/CD workflows, and error handling
- Understanding of the product lifecycle management process
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
- Strong abilities in product discovery, user research, and prototype evaluation
Responsibilities
- Lead the lifecycle of data-centric products, emphasizing product discovery to align with user needs and business goals
- Establish data product strategy and vision in line with organizational and Data Office objectives
- Create an evolving product roadmap that adapts to shifting user demands
- Identify opportunities for Enterprise Data and analyze user requirements through research
- Facilitate design sessions with stakeholders to brainstorm and draft product specifications
- Conduct user interviews and surveys to collect insights and validate product ideas
- Develop mockups and perform usability testing to assess product concepts
- Carry out competitive analysis to discover differentiation opportunities
- Employ data-driven methods to identify emerging trends that inform product discovery
- Collaborate with engineering, solution architects, and business stakeholders to convert insights into product features
- Prioritize product features based on business significance and technical viability
- Interact with stakeholders throughout the organization for requirement gathering and product updates
- Promote product benefits within the company to ensure alignment with business strategies
- Offer training and support to users and stakeholders to enhance product adoption
- Utilize data analysis tools to extract insights and guide product decisions
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of data in products
- Define and track KPIs to evaluate product performance and ROI
- Manage the budget for product development and ensure effective resource allocation
