Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline along with 5+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, SQL Server) and Python for data manipulation and automation
- Practical experience with ETL technologies and using Alteryx Designer for workflow creation and optimization
- Extensive familiarity with Tableau and Power BI, including advanced visualization methodologies and dashboard performance enhancement
- Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation
- Comprehensive understanding of data models (both relational and dimensional) and ETL/ELT concepts and tools
- Required experience with API integration
- Competence in setting up monitoring, alerts, and audits for data workflows
- Firm grasp of data governance principles, including data security, standards, and process improvement
- Proven track record of collaborating and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, through effective communication and persuasive data storytelling
- Skilled in translating complex analytics into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance advanced Alteryx workflows to provide scalable and dependable talent analytics and workforce insights
- Design, develop, and uphold robust data pipelines using SQL (Snowflake, SQL Server), focusing on performance tuning, query optimization, and scalability
- Create, improve, and support interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau and Power BI to deliver real-time insights and effective data narratives
- Collaborate closely with analysts and business stakeholders to convert requirements into well-structured, governed, and analytics-ready data solutions
- Design and implement scalable data models that highlight talent trends, automate workforce processes, and address evolving organizational analytics needs
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, reliability, and consistency of data, adhering to enterprise data governance standards and analytics best practices
- Establish and maintain documentation standards for data pipelines, Alteryx workflows, Tableau/Power BI assets, and data definitions to facilitate maintainability and knowledge sharing
- Utilize Power Automate to enhance reporting workflows, minimize manual efforts, and automate repetitive analytics tasks
