Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 6 years of hands-on experience in construction, project engineering, contract management, project management, and quantity surveying
- Proven expertise in fulfilling all primary duties and responsibilities
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to adapt to changes and complete additional tasks effectively
- Familiarity with ERP or SAP systems is preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-procurement planning to determine the optimal contracting methods for engineered equipment and related construction contracts, ensuring corporate interests are protected
- Provide guidance and support to the project team in developing technical specifications and scopes of work through thorough reviews
- Advise the project management team regarding contractual risks
- Prepare necessary contract pro-formas, including general and commercial terms, for bid solicitation
- Stay informed of local, regional, and national business trends, risks, and relevant legal requirements
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and collaborate with the Supplier Diversity team to promote minority business opportunities in procurement
