Cloud Solutions Architect (AWS/Azure)

- Create architectural blueprints to guide the development and implementation of cloud solutions across diverse products, directing technical teams throughout project delivery to align with technology and product roadmaps - Offer expertise in establishing and maintaining architectural standards and solutions that align with strategic objectives, collaborating with product managers, business analysts, designers, and software engineers to navigate solution decisions - Develop solutions and deliver impactful recommendations to clients - Define operational procedures and practices - Establish KPIs and implement suitable health-checks, monitoring, and escalation processes - Enhance development of roadmap features to meet specific client requirements - Identify ongoing risks and challenges within the project, creating and implementing strategies for risk mitigation - Document project insights and translate them into architectural best practices for broader application; mentor and train the internal team through training sessions - Design extensive network configurations for AWS, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, gateways, load balancers, and DNS - Apply security best practices (Security Groups, NACLs, WAF, AWS Shield) ensuring compliance with industry standards - Configure and manage hybrid connections (VPN, Direct Connect) between on-premises and AWS environments - Utilize scripting (Python, Terraform) to automate network provisioning and management tasks - Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance network performance for optimal cost efficiency - Collaborate with developers, security, and infrastructure teams to integrate solutions - Plan and oversee the migration of existing network workloads to the cloud
