Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or cloud engineering roles
- Extensive practical experience in constructing and supporting infrastructure solutions in a data center or hybrid setting
- Background in designing and implementing scalable platform architectures
- Proficient in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or equivalents
- Familiar with virtualization and/or container platforms
- Knowledgeable in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation methodologies
- Strong grasp of networking concepts, Linux systems, and the fundamentals of distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, validate, and optimize infrastructure/platform components in lab or non-production environments
Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive platform and infrastructure solutions to assist internal business and application teams
- Create architectural blueprints and standards that align with the enterprise platform strategy and roadmap
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into scalable solutions
- Build, configure, and validate solutions in lab settings prior to production deployment
- Develop and maintain automation workflows and pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and platform services
- Implement and support automation solutions utilizing scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go)
- Integrate platform and enterprise APIs to facilitate orchestration across various systems and services
- Operate within CI/CD pipelines to enhance infrastructure and platform delivery processes
- Define and enforce RBAC policies, access controls, and governance standards across platform components
- Provide support for virtualization, containerization, and cloud platform services related to VM and Kubernetes cluster provisioning
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure platform service reliability, scalability, and performance
- Identify risks, performance issues, and architectural shortcomings; propose and implement strategies for mitigation
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and knowledge sharing about the platform across teams
- Mentor engineers on platform patterns, automation methodologies, and architecture choices
