Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Operations Research)
- Over 4 years of experience in quantitative analysis
- Proficiency in any major SQL dialect (we primarily use MySQL and PostgreSQL)
- Experience with data visualization tools (notably Tableau, though familiarity with ggplot is also welcome)
- Strong communication abilities: Proven track record of clarifying complex technical matters to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with Python or comparable high-level programming languages
- Experience with R or equivalent statistical analysis software
Experience with:
- Technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, HBase, and/or related MapReduce frameworks
- Large-scale MPP systems like Vertica or Redshift
- Business Intelligence software such as Tableau or its alternatives
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, marketers, and other team members to develop innovative data-driven solutions
- Analyze complex datasets to derive insights that support business growth
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations for business stakeholders
- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Utilize industry-leading tools and methodologies to conduct quantitative analysis
- Participate in team discussions to brainstorm and strategize on analytics best practices
