Requirements
Must:
- 5-10 years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Integration, or Data Engineering projects
- Proficient in Azure Databricks
- Skilled in using PySpark
- Experienced in Data Modeling, specifically with Medallion Architecture (Gold, Silver, Bronze layers)
- Strong understanding of the impact of data models on KPIs
- Familiarity with On-Prem ERP/ETL systems such as Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, Cognos, and Netezza Performance servers
- Experience within the Azure ecosystem
- Some exposure to analytical platforms like PowerBI, AzureML, Databricks, or Synapse
- Proficient in SQL
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub is a plus
Responsibilities
- Engage in hands-on development and support for new or existing data applications
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to comprehend data and business processes, offering best practice recommendations to clients as needed
- Work closely with Application and Enterprise Architects to draft and review low-level implementation designs, understanding high-level data flow designs created by data architects
- Offer technical guidance to the team for implementing sophisticated data solutions
- Assist in the design, development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation of data engineering and integration applications
- Maintain comprehensive documentation to facilitate downstream integrations
- Provide support for production issues as they arise
- Identify technological trends and explore opportunities for integration within the organization
