Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree is essential
- At least 2 years of pertinent professional experience
- Proficiency in C++ programming
- Experience in sensor fusion and specialized domains
- Background with Unmanned Aerial Devices (UAD)
- Familiarity with autonomous navigation and planning processes
- Strong grasp of algorithms and production-level software implementation
- Knowledge of multi-sensor fusion and state estimation techniques
- Experience with SLAM and localization methods
- Competence in autonomous path planning and obstacle avoidance
- Robust understanding of signal processing
- Previous experience with UAV/aerial systems is advantageous
- Practical implementation of real-world sensor fusion is highly valued
- Knowledge of various sensors such as IMU, LiDAR, Radar, and Cameras
- Familiarity with SLAM approaches including LiDAR SLAM and Visual-Inertial Odometry
- Deep insight into sensor physics
- Experience with autonomous decision-making systems and navigation
- Prior involvement with UAV or aerial autonomy platforms is preferred
Responsibilities
- Support a newly awarded government contract focused on advanced aerial autonomy
- Contribute to autonomy and navigation projects in GPS-denied areas
- Implement algorithms and software solutions for aerial vehicles
- Work on multi-sensor fusion and state estimation tasks
- Develop and apply SLAM and localization techniques
- Engage in autonomous path planning and implement obstacle avoidance strategies
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
- Provide immediate impact in a dynamic work environment
- Adapt to evolving project requirements and technologies
