Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or advanced degree, or equivalent professional experience preferred
- Over 3 years of software development experience, particularly in data engineering and analysis
- Proficient in Unix shell scripting (bash, ksh) and scheduling/orchestration tools (Control-M)
- Skilled in Python, including development of data pipelines, automation scripts, and reusable data transformation logic
- Experience in API development
- Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS, is advantageous
- Knowledge of Data Masking solutions (Delphix, Optim)
- Proficient in DB2
- Strong command of SQL
- Demonstrated data analysis capabilities; comfortable navigating complex data environments
- Experience in creating data management solutions using RDBMS, Oracle, DB2, Cockroach DB, and Postgres
- Understanding of data quality frameworks, including automated testing, validation, and monitoring to maintain data integrity
- Ability to collaborate with partners to elucidate requirements and solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, along with strong written communication
- Confidence to think strategically, contribute innovative ideas, and propose creative solutions for enhanced user experiences
- Collaborative attitude with a willingness to share knowledge
- Familiarity with native stored procedures is a bonus
- Any experience with mainframe languages and technologies is additional plus (Cobol, CICS, VSAM, JCL, etc.)
