Requirements
Must:
- Experience in supporting Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) or IT Asset Management in a robust environment
- Practical experience with a well-established Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Strong focus on detail with a commitment to data quality and execution
- Self-motivated professional comfortable working within a defined framework
- Excellent written communication abilities to create clear and actionable documentation
- Capability to work autonomously while complying with established procedures and governance
Responsibilities
- Implement Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) and IT Asset Management protocols within set governance
- Sustain and operate within an existing CMDB, ensuring timely and accurate updates (Ivanti preferred)
- Oversee and maintain the integrity of CMDB data quality, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Detect data quality issues, document root causes, and escalate remediation to the respective owners
- Efficiently close small, well-defined backlog tasks independently
- Generate clear and concise documentation, including decision notes, exception summaries, and transition materials
- Adhere to established processes and guidelines, concentrating on execution rather than redesigning the procedures
