Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 4-7 years of experience in application development, support, or a comparable role
- Proficiency in Java (preferably Spring Boot)
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Capability to work directly with end users to identify and resolve issues
- Familiarity with enterprise asset management systems (e.g., Maximo) is preferred
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, or middleware platforms is preferred
- Background in supporting multiple applications in an operational setting is preferred
- Understanding of utility, infrastructure, or public sector environments is preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve application issues in partnership with end users
- Design and maintain integrations, including APIs, data interfaces, and system workflows
- Apply application configuration changes and implement minor enhancements
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and maintenance initiatives
- Generate and refine technical documentation, including system flows and support procedures
- Create and implement test plans for enhancements and issue resolutions
- Collaborate with business analysts and users to establish and clarify requirements
- Adhere to established ITIL-based support and change management protocols
