Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field is required
- Masters degree is preferred
- Over 6 years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years in a senior, lead, or advanced analytical role is essential
- Familiarity with Lawson (Infor) is highly desirable
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of contract processes, procurement workflows, and compliance standards
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with contract management or tracking systems is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Valid Florida Drivers License required
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations as necessary
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the review, routing, approval, and execution of contracts as per Procurement and organizational policies
- Ensure that all contract documentation complies with regulations, contains accurate data, and adheres to internal governance standards
- Maintain open communication with suppliers/vendors throughout contract review and negotiation stages
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Legal, Accounting, Risk Management, IT, and end-user departments to address contract-related needs
- Offer guidance to internal stakeholders on contract requirements, timelines, and expectations for the process
- Recognize contract issues or delays and escalate appropriately to leadership
- Lead, mentor, and support Contract Staff to ensure compliance with processes and quality benchmarks
- Assist the Contract Unit Manager with workload allocation and team performance monitoring
- Foster a cooperative, customer-oriented, and process-driven work culture
- Use contract tracking systems to oversee contract status, keep accurate records, and support reporting needs
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to contract reviews, approvals, and negotiation assistance
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other systems to manage contract-related documents
