Requirements
Must:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering (or related field)
- 3-10+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, signal processing, and algorithm development in the Biomedical or Medical Device sectors
- Experience in the medical device or biotechnology industry is mandatory
- Strong background in machine learning/deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, regression, classification, clustering)
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++
- Familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or scikit-learn
- Experience in digital signal processing, embedded systems, and analysis of physiological signals (ECG, EEG, EMG, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of human physiology and clinical protocol design is preferred
- Prior use of AI/ML and DSP techniques on biomedical signals is a plus

- Prototype innovative technologies and contribute ideas for potential patents
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers throughout R&D phases
- Assist in clinical studies, focusing on data collection, statistical analyses, and validation processes
- Execute physiological measurement algorithms on embedded systems
- Produce high-quality, thoroughly documented software
Description
We are Kforce, located in Tustin, CA, and are seeking AI/ML Algorithm Engineers (Biomedical Signals) to enhance our advanced R&D team. This position offers an attractive compensation package, which includes a base salary, annual bonuses, and equity (RSUs). As a fully onsite role, we prefer candidates residing within the Orange County or Los Angeles metro areas.
